Well - I took a little drive to Caroline Alberta and got some nice photos! Please enjoy!

Sneak Peek....

Well - in no particular order.... here are a few photo's I took on my trip!

What a great time I had! I went ti Vaughn, Great Falls - briefly - Helena, Butte, Yellowstone, Cody for 3 nights - and saw Old Trail Town, The Buffalo Bill Center, Cody Nite Rodeo... and a few galleries. I detoured back through Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons and I went to Jackson and drooled in some galleries and saw so many gorgeous pieces! I scooted up through boring old Idaho and I spent my last night down there in Helena and then spent a night in Old,s Alberta after going to the Sundre Pro Rodeo.

A Few More Pictures...

 

So - I totally hit the jackpot on Sunday while I was out testing my lens... I spotted the longhorns... and they were NOT camera shy! I took hundreds of pics!! Here is a peek at one....

I also spotted a gorgeous horse out grazing... and got some great pictures.

I managed to snap 1100+ photos on Sunday and then another 450+ last night when I went to the farm to see my horse and the new baby Canadian at the farm.

I will post more of those pictures when I get back from my trip. Two more sleeps!

 

 

 

Planning A Road Trip....

SO - 2 days ago, as I pulled into the parking lot at work, I decided I wanted to take a road trip to Montana! I have always wanted to go... and I am finally in the position to do so!

I am leaving on June 14th. The plan has been evolving... I am planning to go through Wyoming too. I want to see Old Faithful and Yellowstone and I am planning to go to Cody. First stop though is going to be the Great Falls area to see the CM Russell museum and to meet a lady that |I met through Facebook thanks to a mutual love of horses, nature and art, Donna Ridgeway.

I am planning to take a tent. I may camp, I may go to motels.... I am going to take a TON of pictures. I am picking up a zoom lens tomorrow.

Cody has a lot of places I am excited to see as well. I am so very excited to take this trip - and I will be flying solo. I feel a bit guilty for spending the cash - but I have worked hard over the last year +.... I think I deserve it.

Not only am I looking forward to the getaway - I am also hoping to inspire my creativity.

I am excited beyond words to see things that I have never seen, and go to new places. I have never driven south of Calgary - let alone driven in the USA! I admit that I am a bit nervous about the solo drive, but I am a tough girl and I can do it. I am looking forward to seeing things from the old west in Cody and the CM Russell museum is going to be amazing! Eeeeek! I am so excited!! I will be going photo CRAZY and will have a ton to share when I get back! Stay tuned for details and pictures of my adventure. I am going to take a journal and document it and share it when I get back!
